We work closely with the Chairman’s Trust’s whose purpose is to support the advancement of education through short term residential learning outside the classroom for school age children residing in the borough of Cheshire West and Chester or being educated within the borough who are financially disadvantaged.
The Trust’s purpose is to develop self sufficient, resourceful young people by supporting learning outside the classroom.

Uniquely at two of our centres Delamere and Anglesey, we have recently completed the building of two high quality lodges. These building are designed to accommodate significantly disabled children and their families and are a self catering option available throughout the year
Mountain View Lodge is a modern single storey residential building that is situated in the grounds of the Conway Centre close to the Menai Straits and provides accommodation for families with disabled or disadvantaged children to enjoy short breaks away.
It has been designed to have an overall welcoming and cosy feel and is able to accommodate children of very different disabilities and needs.
Situated in 170 acres of National Trust Parkland, Mountain View Lodge was commissioned by Aiming High for Disabled Children who are part of Cheshire West and Chester Council.
It is designed to be an Eco friendly dwelling with many innovative and energy saving features including solar panels, reed bed filter for waste water, grey water systems and heat reclamation pumps.
Mountain View Lodge has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and will accommodate up to eight people. Mountain View Lodge is fully equipped with specialist equipment i.e electric beds, portable hoists, change tables and wet rooms with shower chairs. Free WiFi is available.
Please appreciate that Mountain View Lodge is situated with the grounds of an art and outdoor education centre and certain restrictions apply.
Just fifteen minutes out of Chester, on the edge of the beautiful Delamere forest, Champions Lodge is a specially equipped lodge for families with special needs, who wish to take a short break.
Champions Lodge was commissioned by Aiming High for Disabled Children, who are part of Cheshire West and Chester Council and is situated within the grounds of the Delamere Outdoor Centre.
Champions Lodge has two bedrooms and two wash rooms and accommodates 6 people. The children’s bedroom has a specialist bed, a single bed and a large bathroom (with bath and shower) en-suite. The second bedroom can be set up as a double or a twin, the shower room is separate. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining, living area with a sofa bed and a great view into the forest.
The kitchen has a fan oven, induction hob, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave oven, food processor, dishwasher and washer-dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with all crockery, cutlery, pans, baking trays and utensils you will need for your stay. The specialist equipment includes an electric bed, hoist, change table and wet room with shower chair.
There is a disabled accessible parking space adjacent to the Lodge, specifically for the use of visitors.
As the Lodge is situated within the grounds of an outdoor education centre certain restrictions apply.
