Cheshire Youth MFL Jazz Orchestra

Cheshire Youth MFL Jazz Orchestra

The Cheshire Youth MFL Jazz Orchestra, fresh from their electric performance with Alex Bone (winner BBC Young Musician of the Year) at this year’s Manchester Jazz festival, are looking for trumpet and trombone players to join them this year.

This exciting young band features some of the region’s best up and coming musicians aged 13 to 18, with many former members of the band now professional musicians themselves. The band has carved out a reputation for innovation and original music, performing throughout the north west four to five times each year.

The jazz orchestra rehearses once a month in Northwich on Saturdays from 10.15am-3.00pm and we are currently looking for brass players (around Grade 5 standard or higher) to join our friendly and enthusiastic band members.

Special events this year:

In 2019 we will be working and performing with leading UK trumpet player, Percy Pursglove and will be performing at a leading Manchester music festival in the autumn.
