Spring Term Competition Review

Spring Term Competition Review

The start of the year has started as the autumn term finished with 4 competitions delivered within a short spring half term!

The events have had 4 different venues; St Paul’s, St Anne’s and Rock Ferry Primary schools and the Oval Sports Centre. During this half term there were opportunities for all year groups from years 1 through to 6 and for both boys and girls of all abilities. This really emphasises the focus and diverse nature of the Edsential ‘Competitions & Events’ that are delivered. Sports such as Boccia have been delivered at St. Paul’s Primary; Indoor Athletics for Years 1 & 2 at St. Anne’s primary; Dodgeball for Years 3 & 4 at Rock Ferry and the continuation of the Edsential Netball League for Years 5 & 6 at the Oval Sports Centre.

During this half term we also had sports leaders from St. Johns Plessington, who helped out during the Netball league at the Oval. It was great to see some of the GCSE students umpiring and scoring the matches providing them with excellent experience for their future studies.
