Edsential would like to invite you to Come and Play with the Hallé 2022.

This inspirational and lively introduction to classical music using instruments of the orchestra in your school has given your children the opportunity to join The Hallé at The Bridgewater Hall in making a truly glorious sound.

Event Details

We hope that this concert will feature more than 1200 children and will be the culmination of our Whole Class Ensemble Teaching programme, performing with the Hallé.

The Hallé repertoire is drawn from carefully selected pieces which will inspire young musicians to explore both classical and popular music played by this world-renowned orchestra. Your children can join in with specially written parts and sing songs inspired by the concert theme, following this seasons theme ‘The Americas’.

The cost of this event is £6 per child (Note: Additional staff outside of the 1:10 ratio, will also be charged for).

Venue:  Bridgewater Hall, Manchester

Thursday 16th June 2022 – Arrive: 12.30pm. Rehearsal: 1.00pm. Performance: 1.30pm

Submission Deadline: Final date for submissions is Friday 8^th April 2022. (SKY hub schools have until 27^th April to register).

As this event has limited capacity, spaces will be allocated on  ‘first come, first served’ basis. You will be contacted by 29^th April regarding your status and if you have been allocated a place you will then need to confirm by 6^th May to secure your place.
