THIS COURSE IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO COMMUNITY, FAITH AND VOLUNTEER GROUPS IN WIRRAL WHO ARE ACCESSING THE HOLIDAY GRANT FUND, THOSE NOT ACCESSING WILL BE REMOVED AND INFORMED ACCORDINGLY

Delegates will learn:

• Basic knife skills (for adults and age appropriate for children)
• Ingredients required for the class to make a dinner for a family of four to take home and enjoy
• All equipment, utensils and aprons needed for the class
• Full recipes provided so that they can re-create the dishes again
• Skill sharing and ideas
• How to include more veg in children’s foods
• Ideas and trying child lead cooking ideas
• How to construct a meal… portion sizes, carbs, fats and protein
• How to read food labels!
• Eat the rainbow
• Healthy Lunch Box ideas
• Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner recipes`

Note:

• There is a maximum of one place from each organisation on this training.

• Failure to attend the training without giving 2 working days’ notice, will result in a £35 admin charge per place.

• Those organisations that fail to attend training will be shared with the partnership board at decision making.
