IF YOU ARE FROM A COMMUNITY, VOLUNTARY AND FAITH SECTOR ORGANISATION FROM WIRRAL OR CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER YOU MAY ALSO APPLY, BUT MAY BE ADDED TO A RESERVE LIST.

Health and Safety Risk Benefit Assessment

This session will support you in understanding the Health and safety legal framework when working with children, the session will support you in understanding the expectations for both employers and voluntary organisations.

By the end of the session you will be confident in

• knowing what needs to be covered in a risk assessment
• Planning and documentation of activities
• Ratios and effective supervision
• Understanding what is reasonable and practicable
• Myths around Health and Safety

Note:

• There is a maximum of two places from each organisation.

• Failure to attend the training without giving 2 working days’ notice, will result in a £35 admin charge per place.

• Those organisations that fail to attend training will be shared with the partnership board at decision making.
