Health and Wellbeing – Managing workload and maintaining a work-life balance

This course will increase awareness and understanding of the most common of SEND prevalent in modern schools and equip the newly trained teachers in building relationships and creating positive next steps to building an inclusive environment for all.
Behaviour, Support and Development – This session will focus on developing an ethos of positive behaviour support. The most effective teachers and support staff continually reflect on their behaviour support strategies and challenge themselves to improve. Assessment – Untangling the complex world of pupil assessment and progress.
This workshop will give you an overview of the statutory assessment procedures that are required by the DfE in all maintained primaries, academies and participating independent schools. You will be provided with an overview and details of the assessments that take place within different stages of the primary curriculum to give you an outline of how each of these feed into the learning journey of pupils in our primary schools. To give you a greater understanding of what evidence is required for the assessment of primary pupils, there will be an opportunity for you to take part in moderation of pupils work at KS1 and KS2. The changes that have been made to statutory assessment for the 2020-2021 assessment cycle as a result of the COVID disruption to education will also be outlined.
All sessions are 4.30pm – 5.30pm and delivered online via Teams or Zoom. Once booked delegates will be sent the meeting details.
