Lynn began her career as independent artist specializing in portraiture. During this time she also delivered educational workshops to school and communities groups through The Corner House Manchester and Platt Art Gallery Manchester.
At St Helens College of Art she taught life-drawing, painting and printmaking to adult and further education students.
The greater part of Lynn’s teaching career was Helsby High School, where she taught for fourteen years, regularly achieving 100% pass rates at grade C and above at both GCSE and A Level.
Whilst delivering primary school liaison projects for Helsby and Queenspark High Schools she gained experience of teaching Art and Design to key stages one and two.
Lynn now combines work as a freelance artist with delivering workshops. Her work has been exhibited and sold nationally and internationally. Her paintings combine stitch and paint to create highly textured landscapes whilst her ceramic pieces are based on archaeology.
