Helen trained at Liverpool Hope University as a Primary School Teacher, specialising in Music. She is an experienced class teacher, as well as music teacher, and has worked in a number of primary schools across Merseyside and Cheshire. She now works as Area and Vocal Strategy Lead for Edsential Musical Routes.

Helen has worked as choral conductor for Preludes, the training choir for Chester Music Society and is at present running a school choir at the school she last taught in – Concordia, who have performed with the Wirral Symphony Orchestra on a number of occasions.

Helen is passionate about composing songs for primary schools and has composed a variety of songs for St Peter’s CE Primary School in Heswall which the children have performed for special events. She is keen to encourage creativity and involve the pupils in the song writing process, as well as  participation with instruments too.

Helen will be running a series of music workshops at the Conway centre and is currently delivering several large vocal projects across the area.
