Edsential Catering Manager shortlisted for Contract Catering Award
We are delighted to announce that Catering Business Manager, Richard Scott has been shortlisted for the “Education Award” in the Contract Catering Awards 2025, the awards ceremony is held annually and is the only event to celebrate the leading players from this highly innovative and influential industry. The night itself is packed with the crème de la crème of contract catering – from Rising Stars to the Lifetime Achievement Award winner.
Richard has been recognised for the incredible work he does in our catered schools with the aim to improve outcomes to children and young people at the forefront of his mind. He goes above and beyond for the schools that he manages and we are thrilled that the hard work and dedication that he puts in is being commended.
His achievements include increasing uptake in a particular school by 250 meals per week through parent and pupil surveys, more service points, menu changes and the introduction of new items. This is just an example of one school that Richard has improved the outcomes of, but Richard has over 30 schools which he manages and has helped improve the outcomes for children and young people at.
We look forward to the event and being amongst the talent from across the industry for an evening of celebration.
