Primary Music

Welcome to Primary Music for Schools

We help children and young people to become musicians who listen, co-operate, concentrate, co-ordinate, develop manual dexterity, memory, self-control, imagination, and confidence.

Learning to play an instrument or to  sing is a journey of discovery, joy, challenge, and fulfilment. The musical learning journey often starts in Key Stage 1 with the recorder or classroom percussion instruments. Every child has the opportunity to experience learning to play an instrument in Key Stage 2 as their manual dexterity, strength and co-ordination develop sufficiently to handle instruments such as the violin, trumpet or saxophone. With a wide range of instruments, musical styles, concerts and events; an exciting musical journey awaits!

Music Schemes

We offer a range of music services for your school to pick from, including whole class instrumental learning, music curriculum PPA cover and individual or small group music lessons. Each option has it’s benefits for your pupils and can be personalised to your school. We also offer ‘add-ons’ such as instrument hire, after school choirs or CPD training workshops.
