The Edsential LOTC Advisory service is a one stop solution for educational visits, supporting schools in planning and monitoring and auditing educational visits both locally and overseas and giving employers the assurance that all advice is expert and independent. Our team of friendly, specialist education advisors will ensure school staff are happy and confident in the delivery of activities, whilst safeguarding schools in the knowledge that they have exceed statutory requirements and best practice for risk management and training.

- All Edsential advisers are full members of the Outdoor Education Advisers Panel, which is the lead body for guidance, advice and training related to outdoor learning and educational visits in England and Wales, endorsed by the HSE and DfE. The team has a wealth of knowledge and experience in education, the outdoors and industry. This is your assurance that all advice, guidance, and training is independent, current and of high quality.
- Edsential chair the North West Outdoor Education Advisory Pannel (OEAP) with all staff being accredited trainers for nationally approved qualifications. Our staff team consist of experienced Primary and Secondary school teachers, with extensive experience of working within residential centres and Educational provision, both within the UK and oversees.
- Our staff are still operational, and enjoy working within school and residential settings and understand the challenges that schools operate within.
- We have our own technical advisors that support National Governing bodies and coach at a national level. Members of our team sit on both on the Council for Learning outside the classroom (CLOtC) and British activity provider association (BAPA) and are involved in standards writing at both national and international level.
- The Advice and Guidance service provides a robust and efficient system for educational visits for all educational establishments, using The EVOLVE software system all information is stored securely in an archive of visit information, and provides you with a ‘one stop shop’ to access a wide range of support materials and resources whilst enabling schools to demonstrate good practice to regulatory bodies regarding all learning outside the classroom activities.
